Long-time client Steelite Utopia, a leading designer and manufacturer of luxury tableware for the hospitality industry, approached us with an inspiring brief. They wanted to bring to life a case study featuring Michelin-star chef Simon Hulstone at the renowned Elephant Restaurant in Torquay.

Simon has been using Steelite Utopia products for over 20 years, relying on the balance of tableware, glassware and cutlery to elevate food presentation and create the perfect dining ambience. The quality and performance of Steelite’s products play a key role in how his dishes are experienced, something the film needed to authentically showcase.

As Steelite’s video production partner, our role was to capture this relationship and highlight the dedication to craftsmanship and performance behind the brand. We produced a full testimonial with Simon, combining relaxed talking-to-camera moments with interview-style content and cinematic B-roll of him working in the kitchen, alongside the products in use.

Food and cooking videography is an art in itself, so capturing the beauty and delicacy of Simon’s dishes was essential. Slow, panning shots, carefully considered lighting and a strong focus on the product ensured every frame felt refined and purposeful. The final film brought together an inspiring soundtrack, informative conversation and elegant visuals to create a visually stunning and impactful case study.

The video was extremely well received across Instagram, with the teaser and main film generating over 25,000 views, 347 likes, 40 saves, 267 new followers and 370 profile visits combined, through a mix of organic and paid promotion.
